Carinya Home for the Aged opened in 1977 as a community-owned aged care facility, located in Atherton. From our modest beginnings we have continually reviewed, grown and adapted to meet the needs not only of the individuals that we serve, but also the families and communities that we support. Today our facilities consist of private and companion rooms (limited number of companion rooms available) with 131-bed capacity, where we provide quality support services to low care, high care and residents living with dementia.
We bring together all the comforts of home while providing quality support and a variety of opportunities for social interaction with other residents, visitors, entertainers and loved ones. The open living spaces, beautiful gardens and environmental park views add to the relaxed atmosphere. We are proud of Carinya Home, community, residents and families.
