Our residents are our family at Carinya home and our team deliver supportive care services, enabling them to enjoy life’s possibilities. 24-hour residential care is provided by our registered nurses, enrolled nurses and personal carers. Extra care services are included, such as visiting doctors, dieticians and allied health professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech pathologists.
Our chefs, cooks and hospitality teams collaborate with residents on dietary preferences, to prepare menus which are reviewed by our dietician. Meals are prepared fresh daily and residents enjoy these in the company of others in our communal dining rooms, or in the privacy of their own rooms. At Carinya, everything is taken care of by our passionate team, which also includes housekeeping and maintenance, who all make important contributions to the home’s environment.
Our residents are our priority in every aspect of support and care. Their comfort, health and ability to enjoy life’s possibilities, with social engagement, inclusion and dignity, is central to all of our operations. Registered nurses are available 24-hours and we’re able to provide low care, high care and memory support care (dementia).

Carinya Home’s respite care can be booked for scheduled periods, to accommodate carer needs and breaks, but is also available to support you and your family in an emergency. Bookings are essential for our respite care, which is available for a minimum 2-week stay up to a maximum of 63 days in a financial year.

If you want to downsize and have the opportunity to access and participate in planned social activities and events, then our independent living units might be the best choice for you. These units are in close proximity to medical facilities and local amenities, and residents can come and go as they please.
