Hello Carinya Community
Yesterday the Qld Government released their plan that will come into effect at this stage from 17 December 2021.
The significant impact that it will have for Carinya is that all visitors will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 – this means having two shots of a TGA COVID approved vaccine.
Visitors will need to provide evidence of their vaccination status upon arrival at Carinya.
This also means that Carinya cannot allow unvaccinated visitors except in the case of end of life stages for a Resident or an emergency situation from 17 December.
If you or your family network have not been vaccinated and intend to, please ensure you do this as a matter of urgency as only fully vaccinated visitors can enter the home from 17 December.
Also – the requirement for all visitors to have a current flu vaccination was removed this week as well.
